Today's luck

We calculate today's day pillar against your actual chart. This is not a zodiac-year reading.

Birth time unknown? Leave Hour empty. Only the Hour Pillar of the natal chart drops out; today's luck still calculates.

Today's day pillar — 11 Oct 戊午

戊午 day. A midday mountain baked hot. Fire hardens earth, so conviction firms; firm and rigid sit one notch apart. Make the resolution, and still leave room for one other person's sentence.

Today's luck

Portal 'today' pages bundle millions of people under one animal. The same sentence cannot fit everyone, so it fits no one. This page calculates differently. Each date has its own sexagenary day pillar, and that pillar's stem and branch form a real relation with your eight characters. Even on the same calendar day, a different Day Master receives a different name for the incoming qi.

We calculate four things. What Ten God today's stem is to your Day Master. Whether today's qi helps or cuts your Useful God. Whether today's branch clashes or combines with your day branch. And whether today is a Nobleman, Sky Horse, Peach Blossom, or Void day on your chart. All of it runs in this browser. The birth date is not sent anywhere.

The copy does not prophesy events. It says what today's incoming qi feeds, what it cuts, and therefore which work is worth doing today and which work is better postponed. We do not end on a kind sentence. That is the same rule as the rest of this site.

Limits of this reading

Day-level luck is the lowest-resolution layer in Bazi. If the natal chart and the luck pillars are the terrain, the day pillar is the weather, and weather does not rewrite terrain. A favorable mark today does not authorize a reckless call, and an unfavorable one is not a reason to cancel a held appointment. Use it only to set the day's angle: which kind of work will run smoother, which kind will drag.
